These have a sorry story. The tops were ordered from a very reputable company in London, who ordered them from another masonic dealer in the Midlands, who ordered them from the makers (each adding their markup). Since there was a postal strike, and I needed them to ensure a good fit, I short circuited my client's arrangements and collected them from the makers. Unfortunately, my Spanish client had already paid £40 each for them, up front. Added to that, the one in the middle is the wrong design anyway! What do we learn from this? ...
